What is a Green Event?

Well, everyone lately has been talking about green events. What does this mean exactly and what can we do about it? A Green Event is an event that is designed to consume less resources than the normal. Believe it or not there are many things we can do to make this happen. Power is the most obvious and the most impactful in what we do. It comes down to using LED lighting where possible, amplifiers with switch mode power supplies for audio and low power consumptive projectors or LCD screens for video. As far as scenic using recycleable materials or using prebuilt sets/ scenic elements to eliminate discarded materials, resources and effort.
